Abbie came over tonight to help me with putting the kids to bed since Doug is out. But way more importantly, we got to have a little birthday celebration!Koen sang her "Happy Birthday" several times. We made her cupcakes and they enjoyed eating one together before he went to bed (I seriously think there was more on the floor and on his clothes than what when into his mouth - much like Cookie Monster on Sesame Street).
Ab and I just finished a nice meal and cupcakes for dessert ourselves. She's headed off to finish a major week ending in the Spring Musical she creates/directs. Mom arrives tomorrow so she will be here to see it at the end of the week.
