Decorating Easter Eggs

Although I absolutely am loving re-living the baby stage with Tavin, having a toddler that can appreciate fun activities is such a blast! Last night we decorated Easter eggs for the first time. I'm really glad we did it in the backyard because it was definitely a watery-dye mess, but we all had fun.
Koen was really into sloshing the eggs around in the dye. He was pretty good at fishing them out with the wand tool too, but carrying them over to the drying racks proved disasterous a few times, so Mommy took over that task.
Tavin and Daddy looked on from a few feet away. Tavin, of course, loved watching his brother as well as the traffic passing by.

The video shows Koen helping me put the eggs in the "baskets" we are using to display them in the kitchen and dining room.

  1. I like the displaying idea, but it seems very un-Amy-like to render them inedible and end up wasting them ;-)
