Polar Express, Playroom Version

With sillyness abounding here at the Melder house, I've been really trying to help Koen especially apply himself to productive play as opposed to spinning in circles and banging into walls (seriously, sometimes it's that lame and stupid).  Tonight he really rose to the occasion (after of course getting in trouble for some major infractions brought on by uncontrolled sillyness).  He had this great idea to "build" a Polar Express-like train.  Now, you may not be able to tell this is a train, but to Koen, it was completely like the one in Polar Express with levers, a wheel, a coal car, etc.  Tavin, the trusty side-kick was told to sit in the coal car of course and he sat there loyally following his brother for the 30 minutes that this awesome, productive playtime lasted.  Here are the proud train engineers...

Koen got an engineer hat out for Penn too and put it on him.  I had to take a picture.  Penn and I were in the comfy chair, i.e. the caboose.
