My Aunt Eileen and Koen are developing a fun little mail relationship. Aunt Eileen discovered Koen's interest in trains and since she and her husband share the same interest, she began sending him magazines. Koen really enjoys these special mail deliveries and loves the magazines. We go over and over them and he reads them on his own as well.
Today we got a special package from Aunt Eileen including a new magazine (upon opening Koen said, "what does it say, Mommy?") and a miniature running train and track! Koen was so excited and played with it all morning. Thanks so much, Aunt Eileen. It is so sweet you think of him. He will enjoy this little set for quite some time.
