Hilary let me know that she and Delia and Huxley would be at a playground a few blocks away after naptime. Since it was such a gorgeous day today, I jumped at another opportunity to be outside. As soon as Koen was up, Tavin and I went up to get him, and although he was groggy, he was actually very interested in meeting "D" at the playground.
We headed out on our first trip with our new Chicco stroller. I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that our Chicco stroller had oddly fallen apart (the handle just completely broke off one day). Well, despite being no longer under warranty, Chicco responded with an above and beyond reply and sent us a brand new stroller like our old one (just a different color pattern). Such a great surprise and blessing!
Koen and Delia had a blast following each other around the playground. They especially liked dancing on the little stage there while singing. Koen sang "Frosty the Snowman" for awhile. Still a favorite months later after Christmas.
On the way home, Koen and Delia held hands the whole way (and held Hilary's hand anytime they needed to cross the road). They are so sweet together. They've been together now for almost two years, it's no wonder they are so comfortable with each other. I love seeing them grow into little friends. So special and sweet.
