Koen and I invited Hilary and Delia to join us for this special date. Koen was so excited to get all dressed up (like Daddy does for work). Here he is all proud and ready to go!
Koen and I had a great time. Here's a quick shot of us in the lobby. He chose to take off the vest to better show off his tie. So funny!
The sets were amazing and the two little kids in the show were unbelievably impressive. Koen and Delia were completely attentive and interested. Here are the two buddies, obviously happy to be on this fun outing with their moms and each other.
We only stayed until intermission since it was a school night, but they had a great time and loved the experience. Thanks to Allison from church for the tickets and thanks to Douglas for putting Tavin and Penn to bed so that I could have this special time with Koen (and take in an amazing show!). Douglas of course took an adorable shot of Penn after he successfully fed him a bottle (we never know if he's going to buck that, so it's always great when he'll take it!).
He also took this sweet video of Tavin. Tavin has been developing his verbal skills in conversation and song lately. We listen to "Miss Kassi" a lot in the car (our friend and prior worship director at North Way Oakland) and Tav has picked up on her "oh oh oh" sequence in one of the songs. Doug got him to sing it for her on video. Pretty precious (and in related news, totally brought a tear to her eye when Doug sent it to her last night).
