Kacia and Harlow had to leave to get home for H's late morning nap. Tavin and Penn and I were anxious to get outside at that point, so we headed to Osceola where we knew our friends Kyndal, Kaiser, Porter and Malone were hanging out for a little bit. Here are the big boy buddies working hard with planes and diggers.
And here's my every morning buddy. Ahhh, melts my heart every time.
Tav, Penn and I were only at Osceola for about 45 minutes and then had to head home to meet Koen from his carpool dropoff. The boys ate lunch on the porch which is a usual for us on a gorgeous weather day like today. Our afternoon was pretty normal and then after naptimes were over we headed outside again because the day was just too beautiful to miss! We tried to go to the playground closest to our house, but it was packed and both Koen and Tavin seemed overwhelmed with all that was happening, so I offered that we walk back to our street and see if our friends were out again. Turns out, everyone was out! We had a wonderful hour with our neighbors (well, Koen was a handful, but that seems to be pretty standard the last week or two!). Penn had some fun hanging out with his friend, Everett. Everett is about 6 weeks older than Penn. Aren't they cute? Penn's super excited and Everett seems unsure about what his friend is so happy about ("what's the big deal, Penn?").
Everett seems like maybe he's not too pleased that Penn is creeping onto his turf...
Look! They are almost holding hands (and I'm not sure Everett's happy about it).
Our neighbors are so great. Jennifer (Everett's mom) has so many fun toys that her older son, Perry, is so generous to gladly share with my big boys. They all had a blast and the time between nap and dinner just flew by while we enjoyed chatting and taking in the lovely Fall air. Dinner, bath and bedtime were pretty standard. And now my eyes are heavy and I better get myself to bed!
