So I guess that yesterday's post wasn't quite the last of 2011. I ended up snapping a few pictures on New Year's Eve. We went to a little gathering of other married couples and young families at a friend's house nearby. It was such a great night of fellowship and so fun to see our kids together too. So, here are just a few more pictures as we bid goodbye to 2011...
Jen & Sean's house was filled with Michael's toys to our boys' pleasant surprise. (I think they thought we were going to a house with no toys). Michael just turned a year, but he has great taste in toys and is quite the mover already, so they were very appropriate for both our boys, particularly Tav. Here's Tavin trying out his little vehicle.Koen loved the basketball hoop. Koen actually did really well with Michael (1), Benjamin (1 and 1/2), Tavin (2) and Ellie (1 and 1/4) all over the floor. Such a good brother.Tavin isn't used to having younger kids around as much, so he needed a few instructions on how to be OK with Michael hanging around (poor thing watching his toys being played with at a level he has not yet accomplished). Look how cute they are though!Ok, so really, this is the last of 2011. Hello, 2012, and a whole new year of pictures and blog posts for all to enjoy! =) Thanks to Sean and Jen for helping us celebrate 2011 and ring in the new year with our little guys!
