After lunch today, Koen asked if he and Tavin could play in the back yard. I figured that was a good idea for a little while at least to wear them out before nap. So, we suited up. It only took about 3 minutes to get Koen suited up. Tavin, on the other hand, took about 10 minutes. Maybe part of the problem was that I followed him around with a camera to try and get a picture of how ridiculous he looked at a few stages. Check out the little heffalump!
At this point he was getting less excited about going outside. Perhaps that was because he could barely move?
Here we are outside and he's literally just crying/whining. Poor thing! I tried to give him a ride in the sled to see if that would cheer him up. Well, when we started up around a curve he tipped backwards, so that was the end of that. Sorry Tav!
Koen, on the other hand, was perfectly happy. He loves being outside in the snow. Tavin and I left him after about 2 and 1/2 minutes and he played for another 15 minutes or so with his trucks. Tavin watched him from the window on a step stool, much happier indoors with the ability to move his limbs easily!
