"Two Year Old - Dom"

Today it was the house of the two-year-olds! My dear friend (and bridesmaid), Sarah, is in town with her little guy, Richard. They are visiting us for a few days from DC. I had already offered to watch Huxley weeks ago as Tavin was with him last week while I did the painting project. So, Sarah and I embraced toddlerhood today and just ran with it. And it was a great morning with these little troopers! Here's a picture of Sarah reading to Tavin and Richard was just keeping busy every second with all the new things to check out and so many fun boy toys to enjoy.Huxley came over around 10am and we headed out on a walk on this gorgeous day around 10:30am. We walked to the grocery store, then the bank, a nice long play stop at the library and then a pit stop at the drug store. Finally, we stopped for some open air lunch at Mad Mex on S. Highland. Yum! I absolutely love their kids meal deal. Healthy, delicious and only $5.50. Tavin and Huxley split a kids meal and loved it! Here are the little pals eating up the veggies and dip.And here's how they kept busy playing with cars while they ate their food and kept their eyes on the traffic patterns...Sarah's Richard did a great job at lunchtime too. I was nervous at first taking 3 toddlers to lunch and it turned out to be such a great time, we totally lucked out!We walked home after lunch and dropped Huxley off and then promptly got Richard and Tavin to naptime. They both slept like rocks! No wonder!
