Yesterday two dear friends had their babies!! Jen & Sean welcomed Lydia at 12:48am on Sunday and Kassi & Joe welcomed Lincoln at about 9am. So, this morning after dropping off Koen at preschool, Doug, Tavin and I got to the visit the proud parents and sweet new babies! Tavin was quite amazing and loved seeing the new babies. And here he is with Lincoln. He's getting some good practice on being a big brother!
Tavin kept asking the rest of the day "more babies." Pretty sweet. He gave them hugs, was very interested and also did a good job letting the adults chat while he wandered around and kept busy. He is amazing on these big boy activities while brother is at preschool. It was such a pleasant morning with him. After our baby visits we dropped Doug off at work and then went to a playground until it was time to pick up Koen. Tavin loved just running around with me. I enjoy these one-on-one times with my current youngest so much.
I had to include this picture just because Tavin was playing this adorable game where he pretended to make me food in a little booth in the playground and then would deliver it and take my next order. Such a great imagination already. But too busy for a really good picture.
Thankfully Koen was in better spirits today and the time until nap passed just fine. What a blessing! So, all in all, a much better day than those of the weekend. Thanks for your prayers!
