Yesterday we had the North Way City Campuses Easter Egg Hunt. It was a blast! Definitely a cold blast too after the Florida fun and sun we had gotten accustomed to, but it was great to be back with our friends and neighbors playing with our kids. Koen was super excited as he had many friends from our street, church and nursery school there. It was quite a reunion after 10 days away! Tavin, on the other hand, was quite the crab. You can't blame him. He's used to warmth and sun, it was cold and damp. Then he had two days with almost no nap and late bedtimes due to the drive back. Poor guy. He was quite a champ though sticking with us. He rebounded a little bit after the potluck lunch and we made it all the way to 1pm. Here are the few shots of the Egg Hunt playtime and hunt itself I was able to grab amidst carrying cranky Tav around.
A big thank you to the staff at North Way Oakland and East End. It was a fantastic event (despite the weather, which I know you can't control!). We were so thrilled to be back in time for it and to have so many friends and neighbors join us. Already looking forward to next year!
