Chatting it up on the front porch while I load up the stroller as if I'm a stable hand loading up the pack horse for a long journey.
Koen loves being a helper with his brother. He loved pushing Tav on the swing and Tavin thought it was hilarious. We had a nice visit with our friends at playgroup for a few hours through lunchtime. It was another hot day, so the boys were pretty sweaty when we got home and I had set up the pool just for that reason...
I think the baby pool is going to be a favorite at least for this month, but hopefully the fun doesn't wear off too quickly. Tavin just thinks it is such a delight to take a bath in the backyard and Koen enjoys splashing, making life difficult for Tav, skimming the water for grass pieces and coming up with crazy jumps into the water. It was a refreshing activity for before naptime and then they slept long and hard. Perfect!The boys finished their day with a walk to the playground down the street and we had fun seeing some neighbors there as well. A wonderful summer day!
