A Digger Birthday Bash...could there be a better way to spend a Saturday with 3 boys?

We received the invitation to our neighbor's birthday party a few weeks ago.  It was clear that the party was going to be a digger theme and that it was.  The boys had a blast!  Perry, the birthday boy, was loving it and his parents did an amazing job throwing this super fun themed party.  So impressed!  We all enjoyed it...even Penn!  Look at my little guy totally getting into the digger fun with his brothers!
Without my request, Tav leaned in for some pictures with Penn.  Not perfect, but definitely priceless.

Then it was back to serious business for the both of them.
Koen had his first experience with those big balloons on rubberbands that you can punch repeatedly (sorry, for the life of me can't remember a shorter way to describe this toy).  He concentrated so hard until he got it down.
Then he joined in with the diggers for awhile with his little brothers.
Koen really lit up though when he saw his sweet friend, Delia, enter the room.  They had a hello hug and then they were busy together the rest of the time.  For awhile they took it upon themselves to work hard trying to get all the macaroni and shells back into the pool tub.  Having lunch with them was one of the highlights for me.  Chatting with those two is just as much fun as having a conversation with adults.

Delia was all sweet over Penn and even got a chance holding him.  How sweet!
Somehow I missed getting any pictures of Huck and Tav together, but they also really enjoyed being back together again (as always).  I did manage to get a picture of Tavin and his friend Xavier though.
I never managed to get a picture of our boys with the man of the hour, the birthday boy, as he was very busy and super excited about his fun party.  =)  Thanks so much to Jennifer and Steve for including us in this great event.  Our boys LOVED it and we are seriously considering adding a pool of macaroni as an item in our playroom. =)
