Afternoon With Alex

First of all, Doug and Koen had a fantastic time on their little outing.
They went to the Squirrel Hill library because there was a special preview show of the muscial, Suessical. Koen was so enamored. Here's a little video of the show and a glance at Koen glued to it all...

They had so much fun at the library, they let me know they were going to also go out to lunch at the Smallman Street Deli. They didn't take too long though as Koen was anxious to get back and "help out with the babies." He literally told Doug that. He was really amazing today. So sweet to Alex and very good with his brother too.

We finished our afternoon with Alex with some friendly playtime upstairs. Koen mostly kept himself busy with a fictional construction project, but Tavin and Alex "played" together a little. Alex looks a little unsure!
All 5 of us just had a nice time playing together. I'm so encouraged that my boys are feeling better today. Tavin is really acting like himself again and Koen still has residual cold symptoms, but is 10 times better than yesterday. I'm so thankful! Look at my happy little Tav!
Although Tavin definitely cried every time I had to hold Alex in front of him, he seemed sad to see his little friend go...
Come back soon, Alex! We loved adding another little guy to the mix!
