Visitors

This week we entertained a lot of visitors.  Some friends just stopped by quickly, others hung out for awhile.  It felt so good to have some interaction with friends.  I've barely entertained this past month.  It's been a necessary break, but it made me feel normal to have people in my home!

On Tuesday, my friend Stephanie and her little guy, Lincoln, came by for a playdate.  Stephanie got her hands on Jansen (and Lincoln wasn't too jealous).
On Wednesday morning, Penn had his in-home speech therapy appointment with Miss Allison.  He loves her so much.  Here they are reading a book and Penn is working so hard on his words.  Next week Penn has his annual evaluation (one year from when he was initially evaluated) and if he doesn't re-qualify for services, we will not longer see Allison, so I had to take a picture in case this was his last session with her.  Hopefully it won't be!
Wednesday afternoon, my dear friend, Veronica, stopped by to drop off a delicious meal for our family dinner that night.  She met Jansen in the hospital, but it was fun to show him off again.  Tavin enjoyed getting to see his buddy and show off his baby brother. =)

Wednesday was a packed day of visitors actually because we also had a stop-in from our friend, Lisa.  She moved out of the area last summer and happened to be in town this week and we were thrilled to get a little bit of her time and catch up and introduce her to Jansen.  She got some sweet snuggles from him too.
Tonight my friend, Sarah, stopped by to drop off a meal (aren't we so blessed to be so well taken care of by our friends here??  Amazing!).  Sarah got her hands on Jansen too and he loved it.  After a few minutes he took a cozy catnup in Sarah's arms.
