Penn the Puzzle Man

Penn has a new favorite pastime...puzzles!  It started about a month ago that he enjoyed watching and "helping" do jigsaw puzzles.  But then he started getting them out and doing them all on his own about a week ago.  He will sit and work on puzzles doing them completely on his own and then dismantling them and doing them all over again.  Here he is the other day when Tav was at preschool, I was getting some stuff down and Penn set to work on his puzzles (and didn't move for 45 minutes).

Here's his grand accomplishment...7 puzzles all done all by himself.

I love this new phase.  It's such a good mental and physical exercise for Penn to work through these puzzles and his attention span with it is amazing.  This kid can really focus.  A friend visited that afternoon and he didn't even look up from his puzzle work at the coffeetable and when Daddy got home later he still couldn't be pried away from his work without some coaxing.  Love this puzzle mania, Penn.  We'll have to find some new ones for you!
