Lego Fun from Friends

Not only did we have the pleasant surprise of Miss Brooke hanging out with the big boys during this busy preaching weekend, but we also received quite the fun care package from a dear friend of mine, Carrie.  Towards the end of the week we got an Amazon package with a gift for each of the boys.  Legos for Koen and Tav, Duplos for Penn and a baby toy for Jansen.  I knew we would definitely need a fun, different distraction during the preaching weekend, so I saved them for Saturday afternoon.  Thank you so much, Carrie!  It was a game changer to have this hands-on, time-consuming activity!!

Carrie, thanks so much for thinking of our family in this time of transition, the big brothers all really enjoyed their gifts (and will continue to!).  Thanks for your thoughtfulness and generosity.  We continue to be so blown away by our friends taking such good care of us in this season!
