Tav and I had a nice morning yesterday while brother was at his long morning of preschool. We started by building a complex (for me) Marble Works creation. Tav loves watching the marbles go in, out, down and around.Around 9am a friend arrived to hang out for awhile. Tavin is so great in these little visit times. Playing, snuggling, showing off a little. I love this stage!
After our friend left around 11am, we headed outside. It was again mild and although it had rained hard in the early morning hours, it was dry enough for us to walk (not to visit a playground though). Tavin wanted to pull the wagon and since brother wasn't around to insist on something else, that is what we did.On our walk up the street we ran into a neighbor with her kids also heading out on a walk for the same purposes we were. It was perfect, we became a big caravan of toddler vehicles and kids. We walked for about 45 minutes with our friends. Then as we were going back into the house to make lunch another friend walked by and we hung out on the front porch for a few minutes catching up. Ah, just a taste of spring in the city. Everybody out and about again. Can't wait!
After a big lunch (Tavin totally ate just as much as me and I had a healthy appetite), we cleaned up and then headed back onto the front porch to wait for big brother to get home.Such a nice morning with Tavin. When Koen got home it was time for Tav to head to nap (and then Koen too). The day flies by on school days and on good weather days. Thanks for a sweet morning, Tavin. Love you!
