Truth in the Tinsel, Days 8, 9 & 10

Day 8's ornament was a sun.  We read how Zechariah referred to Jesus as the rising sun, shedding light on this world of darkness.  Glitter glue again (I'm being kind of lazy this year and substituting glitter glue here and there for other supplies...why not?  It's fun and easy!).

On Day 9, the boys made a little clothespin Joseph after we read about Joseph's encounter with an angel in a dream.  Can you tell the boys have been a little wound up during our craft time lately (well, pretty much all afternoon/evening...these kids desperately need more time outside!)?

For Day 10, we again read the passage about Joseph's dream that included a visit from an angel.

We made a felt pillow.  The boys really enjoyed making this one.  Tav tested his out for comfort.  He looks pleased!

Koen ended up using his pillow in the bed he made for his little nutcracker buddy he was given at school after their Nutcracker field trip.  (So cute!).
