Columbus Day Parade 2013

This Fall's weather has been amazing.  So mild and so many good days.  Yesterday morning it did rain a little, but by the time we were ready to go outside, it was clear and beautiful.  We had family plans to go to the Columbus Day Parade.  Doug took the big boys at the start of the parade and Mom and I headed over closer to lunchtime.  That gave us time to hang back at the house with Penn (and I got yet even more stuff accomplished! and Gramma got extra playtime with Penn).  Here's Penn playing the piano for his gramma. =)
Here's my crew at the parade.  We were joined for a little while by Alex, Delia and Huck.

Before I had arrived, the boys had a lot of fun, including some dance number opportunities.  Just go ahead and enjoy these videos...  In the first one, the boys got a little dance lesson.
In this second video, Tav is just making it up on his own.
I was curious to see Penn's reaction to the parade.  He was intrigued, puzzled and pretty happy I had packed lunch.
The parade actually ended earlier than we anticipated, so we walked over to Osceola to get some outdoor, family time.  It was great.  Koen and Doug had a lot of fun playing frisbee.
Tavin got pretty tired and whiney after the energy he put out at the parade, so he caught some snuggles with Gramma.
Penn finally finished lunch and really wanted to get down and play.  Still not a lot for a curious crawler to do at a playground, but he tried.
But when he started trying to pop the chestnuts in his mouth, we figured it was time to pack it up and go.  Oh, my cute Penn Rye!
Great family morning all in all and still enjoying (and oh so thankful) that my mom is here with us to take in the boys in their regular routine mixed in with some fun outings.  I love sharing them with her!
