Cow Appreciation Day 2012

Today was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A.  We went with the boys last year...

This year, Doug took Koen and Tavin.  Koen got to reuse his outfit from last year (he's had it hanging in his closet since last year and has periodically asked when he could use it again, so he was so thrilled to hear about today's plans!).  We had to come up with an outfit for Tavin.  So, in about 5 minutes I came up with getting a light-colored shirt and taping on black cut-out circles (Koen cut them out and was super proud to be a part of the outfit creation).  Look at these awesome pictures Doug took outside of Chick-fil-A.  This one you can see that Tavin is wondering why on earth he has paper circles taped to his t-shirt.
In this one I think Doug had told them to say, "MOO!"
So why did we dress our kids up as cows?  For free chicken of course!  Chick-fil-A is the best.  The boys got free grilled chicken kids meals, balloons and stuffed cow toys.  Such a fun lunchtime with Daddy (and the balloons and cows were quite a hit at home - it was crazy, but they had fun chasing each other around the house with them after dinner).  Thanks, Chick-fil-A!
