Mommy Day Continued...

So, the boys did great with their naps and woke up after 5pm. Yay! I had time to get stuff done and prep their dinner, not to mention, it was so nice not to have to listen to Koen's antics on the monitor all afternoon!

The boys had dinner (Tavin ate more than 3 times what Koen did!). Koen wasn't that hungry after eating a big lunch, but he did specifically request that he have raw spinach after he finished his main course. Seriously, this has been a favorite snack the last few days. Really random, but hey, I'm going to roll with this good habit as long as I can!

So, after Tavin finally finished eating his immense dinner, we went to the playground. I felt like we had to make the most of this amazing weather day. The wind had really kicked up during naptime and the temp had dropped into the 50's and it continued to be super breezy during our time out, but it was still amazing. I just can't believe it's February! Well, tomorrow it'll be more realistic, back in the 30's. But I think we fully enjoyed this awesome break.

Tavin loved having brother come down the slide next to him especially, but they both just seemed so happy to be outside running around in the fresh air.

Both boys are in bed now. Tavin's cold is definitely full-on, so I'm hoping the night goes well. We'll see!
