When we got home from the playground the UPS man was pulling away (and Koen and Tavin both got waves as they yelled, "bye!"). At the door was a big envelope for Koen to open. Tavin was all excited about it too and actually carried the envelope in for brother. Look at him peeking to see what could be waiting inside of it for big brother!
Nana had sent a safe kid's "knife" (more like a plastic pizza cutter) and a kid and family friendly cooking magazine. Koen was very excited!
We didn't have anything on hand to practice cutting with (Play-Doh wasn't good enough for him), so we plan on having cut-your-own PB&J tomorrow. The magazine has a lot of fun ideas and activities, so that will be a nice thing to work through with Koen. Nana, Koen loves getting mail. Thanks for the thrill! He sat down and started working on a thank-you craft for you right away. =)
