A Little Bit of Fall Fun

As our week finished up, we rose above the crazy chaos and were able to get the sick kids and ourselves out for a bit of fresh air and Fall foliage.  On Friday, we met some dear friends at Frick Park for a few hours.  Doug surprised us and met up with us for a bit of the time, Tavin enjoyed walking through the woods with him on a little exploration.
And today with the crew feeling almost 100% finally, we had a few hours at Highland Park together before Doug's busy work day started around midday.  Doug heard it was peak weekend in Pittsburgh for the foliage, so he grabbed some photos of the kids and I to show it off.

Tonight I took the boys out to Osceola Parklet for some more fresh air.  It was a breezy, mild, perfect Fall afternoon/evening.  The big boys were running around, biking and playing with friends, so it was too tough to snap their pictures.  But Penn was a little more low key.  These pictures call for some captions!  "Hey, do you guys hear something behind me?"
"Does it look something like this?"  (His cheese face has gone overboard lately!)
So, anyways, you can see that after our nutty week we are getting back into the usual swing of things and I'm definitely prioritizing taking advantage of these gorgeous Fall days!
