The Storyteller

Koen has an amazing memory. He memorizes his books, books on CD's, DVD's, etc. It is so fun. I've blogged before about how he tells these stories often as he plays. A little example is that he has a Thomas the Tank Engine train that plays the Thomas song. When it starts it must remind him of the beginning of a book on CD about Thomas because he says, "Thomas & Friends by..., based on the series by..., published by Random House. You should be looking at the first page where Thomas and Emily are outside the shed. You should turn the page when you hear..." It is absolutely hilarious. He uses the inflection and tones exactly like that of the narrator on the CD and I just love how he says, "published by Random House." He also does the sound for when you are supposed to turn the page and it is entertaining! I didn't catch that story on video, but tonight he was putting on a little story show. This is from another Thomas book and he quotes it verbatim. So cute!

  2. Cute Amy! George did the same thing with the Curious George books on tape. It looks like Koen likes Curious George a alot so you might want to check them out! They were great when he was starting to loose his afternoon nap. Your kids are cute!
