Daddy's Home!

Ahhhhhhhhhh.....  Daddy's home.  What a difference that makes!  Today was sooooo nice.  The boys were craving their dad and I was missing my man and the role he plays in this household.  This morning we had a special "welcome home" breakfast with Doug (the big boys and I had baked peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread...amazing!) and then we headed into our day.  It was a lot of packing and prepping for our trip to Hilton Head tomorrow, but Doug did take Koen, Tavin and Penn on a fun summer outing amidst all that.  They went on a creek walk and picnic at Fall Run Park.  It was Doug's first time there.  They all had so much fun!  Here are the few pictures I got from the trek...

Douglas, thanks so much for jumping back into the Melder life today.  It is so great to have you home.  We are all so much better for it!  Now we can't wait to get on vacation all together!
