Our Australian friends have introduced us to quite a bit of Australian slang over the years, Oz (the land of Oz = Australia) is just one of them (don't ever ask Doug to speak his best Australian accent, it's terrible! Sounds like a Scottish/German surfer). The blog post title refers to the fact that our friends have now left Pittsburgh. It's a little quieter here and a little less hectic, but it's also sad to see them go as we won't see them again until next year (well, Doug will meet them in NYC in a few weeks to get the car they borrowed from our friends). We had a great visit with these lovely, kindred spirits from across the globe. They are off on an adventure on their own to the Boston area for 2 weeks.
Here's a cute family picture of them on their last night with us. Mo found Koen's "Rudolph Nose" and actually put it on (Koen wouldn't do it). Goodbye, Gilmours, we love you!!! Looking forward to next year's visit already!
