Lisa Visit!

We had such a nice day today. Our dear friend, Lisa, stopped for a visit with me and the boys. We mostly hung out with Koen while Tavin napped, but she did get to hang out with Tavin a little bit during lunch. Lisa is such a special friend to our family and especially to Koen. Lisa watched Koen every Wednesday for two years when I worked part-time from the office after I had Koen (and pre-Tavin). They really bonded and even though Koen was a major momma's boy in those early months and years, he was just fine with Lisa every week. It was a wonderful reunion for them today. Koen gave her such a big squeeze when she got here. Then she had to run out to her car realy quick and as the door closed he said, "Mommy, I love her so much!" Completely unsolicited. So sweet! We played car tracks, did a puzzle, played trains, opened the Christmas presents she brought and had a lovely lunch together. Thanks for coming today, Lisa! We had a blast catching up, reconnecting and I loved having you with the boys for a little while. It's awesome how Koen is still so comfortable and familiar with you. Very special! By the way, the ambulance is a big hit. He played with it all day! Here's a few pics...
