Preschool Penn

Penn Rye had a big week...he started preschool!!  On Tuesday, it was his orientation.  He looks ready!
I got to go with him for the orientation, an abbreviated preschool routine and meet and greet with the teachers.  He was a little nervous (cried when we first got to the classroom), but warmed up quickly (once he got playing with some cars).
He even let me leave for awhile.  So brave!

On Thursday, it was the real thing.  So, of course, more pictures.  Here's Preschool Penn Rye!

Penn was super confident entering the classroom and he was excited to get back to playing with the cars.  He couldn't have cared less that it was time for me to leave.  He gave me a kiss and he was good to go.  Good job, Penn Rye.  I'm so happy you get to have some preschool time to socialize with your peers, be challenged in your communication skills, learn new things and gain confidence outside the home.  You are such a blessing to us, we are excited for you to brighten the lives of your teachers and friends.
