Yardsale Find
Yesterday morning was our neighborhood yardsale. Originally we had hoped to participate, but as the day approached we decided to put it off a year and just enjoy the day as a family. Part of that was that Doug took the boys around to see if they could find anything good in the sales. The boys each got to take a baggie of pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters. When they came back about an hour or so later they had several fun finds. They each got a puzzle. Tavin got a talking/moving little race car and a small bath toy. Koen had the best item though, a motorized wrecking crane. Doug and I both think they should go back to making toys without batteries (and therefore much quieter), but still, this thing is quite cool and has been occupying Koen's time every spare moment he has spent at the house since the yardsale trek. Here's a video showcasing the crane, Koen's pleasure and Tavin's contentedness with his toys/game while brother plays with his new cool toy...
