Crawling Camp

I'm starting to wonder if Jansen is just not going to do the regular crawl and is going to only army crawl.  He seems to only be concerned with getting faster, not working on his technique.  I think the slippery nature of his clothes against the hardwood floor have made the army crawl an easier mode of transportation as well.  The brothers are very interested in his progress.  Here they are all a night last week trying to encourage him to take some really good crawling steps on his knees instead of his belly.

And then last night, Jansen was totally showing off his speed skills (still mostly on belly army-crawling though) and was trying to keep up with Penn and Tavin playing trucks.  Tavin was so impressed and excited that Jansen was "playing" with them.  Penn wasn't as interested.  

We are now in that spot where Jansen is definitely on the move and I really have to think about what could be in his reach once he's down on the floor.  It's fun, but definitely more work than a few weeks ago when he didn't know how to get from A to B!!
