Taylor's Baby Shower

On Saturday, I had the privilege to host my dear friend, Taylor's, baby shower.  Our small group girls and I threw the shower.  These are some great girls to throw a party with, such willing, happy and enthusiastic helpers (perhaps it had something to do with how much we all love Taylor!).  Here's a look at some of the setup...

Present time!  It was so fun watching Taylor get showered with gifts and she was all smiles.  Isn't she so cute in her polka dot dress??  

We attempted some group photos.  I couldn't decide on my favorite (plus, it's funny that Jansen is totally making eyes at Taylor the whole time and even got her to look away for some smiles!).

Taylor, it was an honor to be involved in your baby shower.  It's been so fun to come alongside you during this pregnancy and I cannot wait to grow even closer as you enter motherhood.  I look forward to encouraging you in that transition.  We are so excited for you and Chase and have every confidence that you will be wonderful parents and please know we will be here to support you as friends and fellow parents!  

Here's a picture of Taylor with Chase after the shower.  They stole Jansen to practice with.  Don't they look like a little happy family.  Total naturals (and Jansen just loves them!).

PS - Thanks to Douglas for keeping the 3 older Melder boys occupied all morning.  Here are a few pictures I received via text throughout the shower.  They went to Highland Park for some outdoor play.

What a great morning!  Thanks for the team effort, small group girls and Douglas.  We did it!  And Taylor, it was a joy and an honor to celebrate with you!
