I was so excited to see how this morning went and I was pleased that it went amazingly well. Penn woke up ready to go. We put on underpants and then until naptime he went pee or poops about ten times each, at least. No joke!! He totally gets it. (Now we just have to wait for when he's ready to let it all out at once, I think he's having too much fun being the focus of attention and getting M&M's for every success!) He only had one accident all morning. So encouraging. We are all so proud of him, especially Tavin who was his big cheerleader and helper today. During Jansen's naps in the AM, we took advantage of the gorgeous Spring day and scootered up and down the front sidewalk. Penn looks pretty stellar in his helmet, t-shirt, underpants, socks and sneakers. Awesome.
Another fun, but potty-friendly activity was giving Penn a bath (during which Penn literally used the toilet a dozen times). Here's Jansen, who is such a happy bather!
After naptime, Penn had a successful afternoon/evening with no accidents and lots of successful trips to the bathroom. So exciting! He was especially proud to show off for Koen and Daddy since they weren't home earlier in the day to get a load of his new skills. Good job on Day 2, Penn!!
