Post-Church Playground Season Has Begun!!

It's finally Springtime for real here in the Burgh.  And do you know what that means?  It's time to take full advantage of these warming, sunny days.  Sundays are no exception, actually they might be the rule.  Doug works all day most Sundays, so that means it's me with the crew from wake-up to lay-down, so it always makes the day go smoother to get outside if we can.  And it's even better when we can do that with friends.  So, when I saw the forecast was going to be 60's and sunny, I set our playground play into action (cue texting with the Troxells and packing a ridiculous amount of snacks and all the water bottles and also picking out all the church outfits so that we can get to the 9am service on time).  Thankfully, the morning went pretty seamlessly and we did indeed make it to church on time.  After a great service, we made our way to Osceola Parklet (the new playground of choice due to the new church location).  The Troxells did join us and so did the Edward boys, Austin and Charlie.  That's right, 8 boys.  They all had a blast!  It was a great kickoff to our post-church playground season!  Here are a few pics I caught, but note that the boys are all super active, so they are on the move!

That's 3 boys coming down the slide at once.
The swings were a popular choice.
Uncle Nate joined in for some of the fun.  Such a good sport!

Jansen slept most of the time, but of course I had to document that the sweet babe was with us too.
Koen was dying to push his baby brother around in the stroller, so the next time Jansen fussed, I buckled him and let Koen walk him around to his heart's content.  He was proud because he got Janse to settle down.  Andy liked the looks of Koen pushing the stroller around, so he took a turn too.
Well, that's about it.  It doesn't show nearly how much fun it was.  I loved it...fresh air, sunshine, good friends to talk to, all while enjoying watching my boys have a blast.  Yay for Spring!!
