"Daddy Bah"

Doug got home last Friday night late and it's been go, go, go ever since with another crazy kitchen project week and Doug's busy work week, but he spent as much free time possible with his boys before he had to get on a plane again today.  The boys as usual, were very excited to see him.  Penn was especially enthusiastic squealing "Daddy bah" (Daddy's back) every time he saw Doug this week.  Precious.

Last Saturday morning, Doug took all 3 boys to the free Home Depot Kids' Workshop.  It was Penn's first time being included in such an outing.  He was pretty proud of himself.
Next they headed to the library to make some necessary returns and pick up some items on hold as well as pick out some new books to enjoy.  The librarian saw some of her favorite regulars and gave them a post-Halloween treat.  Penn already had his thumb.  Who needs a lollipop?
Later in the week, Doug took the big boys to Schenley Park for a hike at dusk.  Doug really wanted to spend some quality time with the big boys before being away again.  They really love their Daddy time and at these older ages, really, really need it!  Clearly they were happy.

So, although I don't have pictures to prove all the ways that it was great to have "Daddy Bah" this week, the above is a sampling.  We'll count the days down to your return again, baby.
