Today was Penn's 2 year appointment. It was a pretty low key visit since this toddler is a happy, healthy bug. Well, except that is, for when you take him to the pediatrician. You would have thought I brought him to a torture chamber for the way he was screaming simply for being weighed and measured. That fit through him off for the rest of the visit and he was really needy and cuddly, so no pictures of the actual appointment this time. We just snuggled through the rest of the appointment. Here are the stats... His height was 35 and 1/2 inches (80th percentile) and his weight was 26 lb., 8 oz. (30th percentile). Here's the comparison to his brothers' at the same age... Koen was 35 and 1/2 inches long too! He weighed 28 lbs., 8 oz. Tavin was also 35 and 1/2 inches (what are the odds??!)! Tavin was 27 lbs. So each the same height, but Koen was heavier by 2 lbs, Tav by about a 1/2 pound. So all pretty close!
Since I didn't get any pics at the appointment, here are a few random pictures of Penn Rye this past week. First, July 7th, sleeping froggy style. Oh my goodness the cuteness!
Next, July 8th, on a walk with Mommy, "Keeping the Street Safe."
And July 9th, swinging with one of his favorite pals these days, Teddy.
Love you, Penn Rye! And praising the Lord for your healthy 2 year check up!
