School Spring Production for Koen & Tavin

It's that time of year again!!  Spring at Koen and Tavin's school means Spring Production.  It is the big all-school event.  They put so much into it...the teachers, volunteers, students, everybody.  For weeks they prepare.  And the kids are so excited about it.  Koen and Tav were no exception, especially sweet Kindergartner Tav!

I went to the dress rehearsal on Thursday afternoon (little ones aren't allowed to attend the Friday night show, so I stayed home with P & J and Doug went to that one).  The dress rehearsal was impeccable and totally photo and video worthy.  Enjoy these snapshots of this big event for Koen and Tavin!  Oh, I forgot to mention, the Spring Production is always about the all-school unit at the start of the year.  This year it was Bridges, Steel and Pittsburgh's heritage.  It was such a cool show because of its local content.  It's really amazing what this sweet little school can pull off.

Tav was sooooooo excited.  I spotted him from my seat (Penn was with me too and so proud to find his brothers in the show).  Tav was not ashamed to wave at his mom at all (Koen was playing it a little cool, but still gave me a brief wave and smile).
Koen's class went earlier than Tav with their feature song.  They were bridge pieces.

Here's a glimpse of it in video...
Tav's class was a few songs later.  He could not contain his impish smile.  Sooooo cute!!

And a video of course!  Tav knew every word!
At the end of the show, all the classes do a final song together.  Video below to give you a glimpse.  I was beaming watching the boys in this sweet performance!!  Penn was so proud of his big brothers!
Good job, Koen & Tavin!!  So proud of you both!
